Reimagined the web experience for all 30 Axios Local sites in a four-month sprint to balance consistency across markets and increase engagement across diverse local markets.

Axios is a news website with a mission of efficient news worthy of user’s time, attention and trust. They cover local news, politics, health, media and more.

The challenge

How might we rethink our local sites as destinations, fostering delight, habit and community? How might we increase ad revenue?

Outcomes

Providing value to readers by improving scannability with a revamp of our local web template and introduction of basic search functionality.
